1. How much money do you have left from the initial amount given to you?
2. What is your grocery expense per day for the week? This includes food, and other household items we buy on a regular basis. Furniture, appliaces, etc. not included.
3. How much did you spend on each item at Kroger? This is where you would take into consideration how many of each item you bought.
4. How much did you spend for fruits only at Kroger?
5. How much did you spend for groceries at Target? Food only, other items not included.
6. Create an Excel document to find: o Total amount spend at each store (add cost of all items. Make sure to take into consideration how many of each item was purchased) o Average amount spent at each store (add cost of all items, then divide by total number of items; make sure to add multiple amounts of each item. So if you bought 2 toilet paper rolls, and 3 bottles of water, that is 5 items) o Total amount spent on each item (multiply price by quantity of each item)
7. You have $1200.00 to spend. From Target you purchased a toaster oven for $189.99, a rug for $79.99 and a table lamp for $45.99. You also bought 5 boxes of mac and cheese, $1.40 each, 3 boxes of granola bars for 3.49 each, and a 12 pack of toilet paper for $8.95. You are hosting a party for some friends so you then went to Kroger and bought 10 lbs of snow crabs for 5.99 per lbs, 15 lobster tails for $7.99 per piece, butter for $1.99, a bottle of cocktail sauce for $3.49. You also bought a 24 pack of Dr. Pepper and Coca, each for $5.48. 10 ears of corn were $3.00, and 2 lbs of broccoli salad was $12.48. You also picked up 2 lbs of strawberries for $1.99 per lbs, a lbs of blueberries for $1.49 per lbs and 2 lbs of grapes for $1.89 per lbs.
