How much blood volume would asha have had to lose

Problem: Asha slowly recovers from their episode of septic shock and MODS. They are able to leave the ICU and go back to the inpatient unit to continue on chemotherapy, which causes nausea and vomiting. They are unable to eat or drink much and they start to develop dehydration. You astutely notice this and advocate for IV fluids to be started so that the dehydration doesn't get worse (Nice work!!).

Part 1: How much blood volume would asha have had to lose in order to develop hypovolemic shock?

Part 2: What are the body's compensatory mechanisms for hypovolemic shock?

Include information on the many compensatory mechanisms we've discussed throughout this semester that help to regulate hemodynamics (fluid regulation, cardiac output, nervous system responses, etc.)
