Problem
Reflect on the importance inscribed upon living and non-living components of the environment by Aboriginal people and how that compares to the kinds of sites, objects and edifices in "Western Cultures" (e.g. Notre Dame, The Sphynx, Mt Rushmore). How might an inspection of the values and disregard of the values of "others" that is inherent at the intersection of different cultures aid in the current issues around destruction of important Aboriginal sites, such as the Djab Wurrung Birthing trees and the Juukan Gorge occupation site?
