Problem
Social engineering attacks and other forms of hacking and attacks are performed by outsiders only 30 percent of the time. This means that 70 percent of these attacks are by attackers from inside an organization. Social engineering is performed by insiders most often. This is largely because proximity is a key element in this form of attack.
Identify three types of social engineering attacks and how to combat or prevent them. How might each of these attacks threaten society on a larger scale? What technology could we develop to eliminate the attacks you discussed?
