The knowledge I will gain in this course is crucial for patient safety and effective decision making in the nursing field. Furthermore, it is another opportunity to practice time management, effective communication through discussion posts, and critical reading skills. One scripture that resonates with my calling to become a nurse is: Matthew 25:40 (NIV): "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." This sentiment reflects on the importance of compassion, service, and caring for others, especially those who are vulnerable or in need. Nursing is a profession completely centered around caring for and healing others, embodying the principles of empathy, kindness, and selflessness.
