o Pick a social institution (e.g. family, education, criminal justice system, marriage, religion, corporate sector, etc...) and explain why, sociologically, it is considered an institution.
o Detail, within the institution you picked, how LGBTQIA+/queer people have been oppressed in those institutions.
o *You might have to do some outside research; there are plenty of documented infractions against queer people*
o Use two bolded terms (in the open source textbook for this class) from previous weeks in your answers.
o Why is it important to know some of the histories of LGBTQIA+/queer people?
