Examine the brief section titled "A Scream" (118-119), which is wedged in between two monologues. What happens in this section? Why might Alexievich have decided to place this section where it is? How does it thematically relate to or differ from the monologue right before and the one right after this section? What effect does this scream have on you, the reader?
