Visit the websites of your city, state, and FEMA. (The City is Atlanta Georgia) Describe at least two resources offered by your city or state and at least two resources offered through FEMA to assist individuals in preparing for a disaster. Describe how the programs or resources work and how individuals or businesses in the community can access these resources. How is the evolution of homeland security strategy reflected in these resources? Be sure to summarize, paraphrase, and cite the information.
Your essay response must be a minimum of two full pages, not counting references listed at the end, and cited per APA guidelines. The paper must include a title/cover page, in-text citations, and a properly formatted reference section. You are required to use scholarly resources to support your response. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying citations.
