Problem 1: What are the problems of; Abortion, Euthanasia, and Organ Transplantation- how do these relate to the Hippocratic Oath, questions of autonomy, questions of paternalism, questions of distributive justice, questions of metrics and thresholds.
Problem 2: How is the Doctor-Patient Relationship undermined by neo-liberalism and lobbying, and the overall financialization of medicine; wherein you need to explain how the Doctor-Patient Relationship is corrupted in terms of both (a) the Pharmaceutical Industry and (b) Commodified Health-Care Industry, and explain how/why it is our government today is unlikely to resolve these problems. In short, explain how financialization leads to a degradation of the doctor-patient relationship in these two forms. What would a Utilitarian argue is the ethical thing to do?
