Discussion Post: Team Management
Background
In previous discussions, you analyzed your organization's (i) mission, vision, and values to determine how well these statements aligned with the core business; (ii) strategic planning process; (iii) organizational design; (iv) the organizational culture; and (v) leadership environment. You will now critique the organization's team environment. To guide the discussion, be sure to review the Five Stages of Group Development from the textbook.

a) Describe and evaluate a team that you work with in your current organization.
b) How is leadership identified in the organization? Is it shared? Centralized?
c) Where on the Five Stages of Group Development is the team? Explain.
d) What attitudes, behaviors, or activities would enhance the work of your team?
