Explain how the idea of Reconstruction not only applies to African-Americans but to Native Americans, Hispanics, and Chinese immigrants during the same period in American history (roughly 1865-1885). Your answer needs to evaluate whether or not the legal status of these groups in the United States represented a victory for white supremacy.
