Problem
Think about the different management models from previous classes. Some companies have applied the humanistic model in order to recruit highly qualified individuals. For example, I think of Google and Yahoo. I have often seen the managerial model applied to many organizations. The HR department is used by the CEO to try coach the organization to be more productive and increase the bottom line (Dessler, 2020). I think of evaluations like pay for performance and using metrics connected to pay. When comparing these models, what are the pros and cons? How have you seen these models applied in your own workplace? Which do you prefer and why?
