Years after famous foot race, hare challenged tortise to the rematch on bicycles. Hare was able to pedal at the rate of 15 MPH while tortise could only pedal at 12 mph. knowing he was slower, tortise made up the lame excuse to be given a 27 mile head start. In 165 mile race.
