How erikson strongly rejected most of freuds theory

Problem: Erikson avoided Freud and all members of Freud's family. Although Erikson agreed with the main tenets of Freud's theory, Erikson believed development was lifelong and influenced by culture and society. Erikson strongly rejected most of Freud's theory, especially those related to the oral and anal stages. Erikson is more similar to Adler, while Freud is more similar to Horney.
