The elderly are a treasured population in any society. They have specific needs that differ from the care provided to adults. Watch either video one or two below. Then, write discussion about caring for the elderly and relate it to something in the video. What new knowledge did you learn from the video that can be applied to your current clinical practice setting? Summarize the key points from the video. Research and share findings of prevention and screening in your area for a patient who suffers from the disease/disorder associated with the topic you identified in the video. These videos are filled with a variety of topics. You are encouraged to choose a topic that you have an interest in and one that you feel needs attention in nursing.
