Problem
Choose three of our readings from weeks three and four, except the Chodorow, and briefly answer the following questions for each. What is the main argument? How effective is this argument for understanding race, class, gender, or some combination of these? What are the limitations for each author? Which author's approach do you think is the best? Why? You are welcome to discuss the readings separately, or comparatively. Be sure to move beyond summary towards an analysis of the author's central argument and basis for this.
