Assignment task: Go to the United Nations website
Spend some time reviewing the information on the site.
Scroll down to the "What we do" section. Choose one of the topic areas under "What we do". Read about it and watch some of the videos on the page. Look up one other resource that addresses the same topic. In 250-300 words, share what you have learned using the following outline:
- Identify the topic
- Background information
- How does the UN help?
- Outcome, for example, is it getting better or worse?
- What might happen in the future?
- Closing thoughts/conclusion
- Pose a question for your peers based on your findings, interest, and or potential future outlook.
Be sure to use APA formatting for your references. You must cite at least 2 references. You may use the UN website for one of these.
