i. Read the article "The Dynamics of Picture book Communication" by Maria Nikolajeva and Carole Scott to learn about the different ways text and image relate to each other in picture books.
ii. Look at the animated illustrations from The Weaver that Qian Shi has posted on her website.
iii. Compose a post in which you answer the following questions, using at least one specific example from the text: How does the story in The Weaver depend on the visuals? What information do we get from the pictures that we don't get from the words? What does the animation add to or take away from these illustrations, and why?
