How does the narrators point of view in paragraph

Problem

A literary element is a "building block" that develops a work of literature. Literary elements include character, plot, setting, point of view, and theme. Authors establish their writing style through word choice, sentence structure, grammar, and use of imagery and figurative language.

Literature has multiple layers of meaning. There is the literal level of meaning, which is simply what the text explicitly says. Then there are other layers of meaning that readers have to infer, or make educated guesses about. These other layers of meaning may be identified by paying careful attention to mood, tone, and an author's purpose in the text.

The mood is the emotional atmosphere of the text. For instance, an author or a poet might use imagery to describe a dark, stormy night to form a suspenseful mood. In fiction, tone refers to the narrator's attitude toward events and other characters. In poetry, tone describes the speaker's thoughts and feelings about the subject of the poem. Tone can be conveyed through word choice. For example, a writer may use words such as dangerous and frightening to convey a fearful tone.

Author's purpose refers to the author's reason for writing a literary text. Readers can infer the author's specific purpose by analyzing details that describe, for example, the thoughts and actions of the characters and the conflict of the plot.
