Assignment task: Inequality Paper - Current Event
For this part of your paper, you need to find a news article from one of the following sources that tells about an event or story related to your research question. (See the "Inequality Paper Sample" document in MO4)
Any local TV station such as WFYI or WTHR
1. Copy and paste the link to the story into your document under the scholarly source summaries.
2. Write a 150 word paragraph briefly summarizing the news story and explaining how it relates to your research question. What type(s) of inequality are involved in the story? How does the inequality affect individuals? The community/country? How does what you learned from your scholarly sources help you understand the story from a sociological perspective?
