Project Management Article Critique/Summary
Requirements:
Write a summary of an article that covers an alternative project management methodology than the PMBOK based methodology. Your article can come from a journal article or periodical - however the length of the article needs to be approximately 6 printed pages of actual content - would exclude titles, headers, footers, left and right side elements, advertisements, etc
Summary needs to be 2-3 Page double-spaced using 1 inch margins and 12 point Times New Roman Font
Provide Citation for the article
Provide copy of the article or link where the article can be retrieved
Article needs to be at least 6 pages of actual content
. Summary: Provide a summary of the article. Use your own words you must paraphrase (write in your own words what you read in the article). Do not copy any part of the article verbatim, this is plagiarism. You will be graded on how well your summary captures the essence of the article. You will also be graded on the completeness and succinctness of your summary.
3. Major Points Made By Author: List and briefly discuss (1 or 2 sentences) the major points made by the author. Discuss the author's point of view and biases. Use your own words. You will be graded on how well you are able to identify, understand and explain the main points made by the author.
4. Why is the article important: discuss why this article is important and has been published in the literature.
5. How Does the Article Relate to the Class: Briefly describe how the article relates to this class. Explain how it reinforces or expands on our knowledge. You will be graded on how well you are able to explain the relation of the material in the article to the material covered in the class.
6. Conclusions and Recommendations: Provide a set of conclusions and recommendations. For example, tell why you think the article is worth reading and state whether you would recommend the article or not and why.
