Problem
Purpose: Compared with other stages of the life span, far less research attention has been given to middle adulthood (Lachman, Teshale, & Agrigoroaei, 2015). One attempt to remedy this lack of research is the Midlife in the United States (MIDUS) project, a longitudinal study looking at health and well-being in midlife.
Instructions: Visit the MIDUS to do some research. Select one article from the site to read and provide a summary of the article. Based on the article, write 2-3 page paper that answers the following questions:
i. Briefly describe the article you selected--summarize the main findings and conclusions. Discuss why you selected that article.
ii. How does this article advance our understanding of midlife?
iii. Connect the article you read to a personal experience.
