Maslow's Needs Hierarchy does a great job of providing a framework for understanding basic human needs there are some issues with it. First, people are different as we are finding out in this class. For that reason, not everyone is going to achieve their needs at the same place. They might not even ever reach the highest level, self-actualization.
Given that there are many stages that people can be in, and the fact that not everyone will ever be at an optimal level, how does a manager take needs into account in the workplace? What can managers do to make sure that everyone is accommodated? Is that possible to do and still run a business?
