In a lab when I mixed 5mL of water with 5mL of ethanol, the temperature rose to 26.5 celcius, and when I mixed 5mL of waterwith 5mL of glycerin, the temperature also rose to 26.5 celcius. How does hydrogen bonding contribute to this change in temperature?
(the initial temp of ethanol was 22 celcius, and glycerin was 24degrees celcius).
