In chapter 10 of Peter Singer's Practical Ethics, he poses the question:
Should the dam be built? He never gives an explicit answer to this question. But, given Singer's stance on environmental responsibility as outlined in the rest of the chapter, what answer to this question do you think he would want his reader to reach?
How does he lead his reader to that conclusion without coming out and straightforwardly stating his position? Why do you think Singer chooses not to state his position?
