How does downsizing affect organizations in the short term? In the long term? What is the impact of a layoff on layoff survivors within the organization? How can these effects be minimized?
2: Reduced Turnover
Do you think a fast-food restaurant would benefit from reducing turnover of cooks and cashiers? How? What could the restaurant reasonably do to encourage employees to stay?
