Problem 3: What kinds of problems do zoos face in promoting conservation and biodiversity? Explain!
Problem 4: Go to the Smithsonian Zoo website: Research an animal for which they have active conservation programs. You cannot do pandas!! Pick something else.
Problem 5: Tell us what you found out about the conservation program that you researched. What organisms did you research? What does the zoo do? How does this program impact biodiversity? What programs do they have to conserve this organism? If they have a breeding program for the organism, do they plan on putting the animal back into nature or will they keep it in captivity in the zoo?
