Assignment task: For this discussion board, begin by looking inward. How do you yourself deal with change? What is your ability to be flexible? How, if needed, do you help yourself cope with change? What intrapersonal communication takes place? Then, talk about how, as a leader in an organization, can you assist people to cope with change, avoid/manage conflict and grow to find the positive aspects that change can present. Keep in mind that as a leader, the process of change has impact up and down the organizational hierarchy. So, an issue that might be addressed, is how as a middle manager does one help an upper management which refuses to change, find the courage to institute necessary change.
