Problem
While you are at work, take a look around at some of the products and services you use. These can range from simple products keeping the employee restrooms or break rooms stocked to complex products such as specialized machinery or technology. Tell me about some of the products you noticed. Did they have brand names on them? How were they acquired and how do you think they got to your place of work? Could your workplace function without them? Why do you think your workplace chose the brands or suppliers that made the products? Are the products consistent revenue streams for their suppliers or were they one-time purchases? Use these questions concerning B2B products to help with the assignment and add any other information you feel is relevant to the topic. If you know or can access real answers about the products, feel free to do so. If not, try to speculate about the products you see around you. If you do not currently have a job or cannot find this at your workplace, please complete the assignment by going into any place of business (e.g., Wal-Mart, PetSmart, CVS, Best Buy) and looking for things around the store that help it run a smooth and functional business.
