There is a man who was recently convicted for polygamy in Utah (that is, for having more than one wife at a time). He is appealing his conviction to the US Supreme Court arguing that he has a marital privacy right in the 9th Amendment that is being violated by the law that bans polygamy. If this case goes to the Supreme Court, and given the Supreme Court's positions on contraception, abortion, and sodomy, how do you think the Court would rule and how should the court rule? In his favor? or against him? (and why or why not?)
