1) Who is the most influential leader you have come in contact with personally? What forms of power did he or she have and which types of influence did he or she use to accomplish objectives?
2) Which statement did you feel was more accurate: "Leaders are born" or "Leaders are made"? How do you feel now, and why do you feel that way? Contrast the characteristics of transactional and transformational leaders. Can you think of any potential "dark sides" to transformational leadership? What would they be?
3) Is it possible for an employee to have personal values that are inconsistent with the values of the organization? If so, how is this inconsistency likely to affect the employee's behavior and attitudes while at work?
