Assignment: Community college Reflection paper
Assuming that there is a difference in the mission and vision of the community college as compared to that of other types of institutions. For the final assignment please reflect and consider what meaning you want to take away from the course? This activity should take place after you have completed most of the assigned readings, and had the benefit of class lectures, presentations, and discussion. The paper should be 5 pages in length addressing at two-part question.

Part 1 (Be specific and cite references)
A- How do you define the mission of the community college? Do you believe there are limits on how broadly the mission of the community college should be expanded? Which of the vertical or horizontal expansion efforts of community colleges do support and why? Reflecting on the advocates and critics of the community college mission, with whom do you agree the most? What are the advantages of expanding the mission or of restricting it?
F- Describe which characteristics of the community college mission would appear to be most desirable from the perspective of a faculty or administrator at the community college?
Part 2: How has your own view of the community college changed or been affected, and how might you utilize your learning from this course within your own organization? Also, please discuss things that went well and did not go so well for you in the course.
