Problem
How do the virtues contribute to leading a good life, according to Aristotle? Then, do you agree that leading a virtuous life, a life in which people develop and practice human excellences, is what makes life good for human beings? (If you want a modern version of this claim, you can look at the psychologist Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs.) Or is something else necessary for leading a good life? Is there any reason to believe that society benefits from people leading virtuous lives? Is what is good for the individual also good for society? Explain your reasons.
