Discussion Post: The Bio-psychosocial Approach
The bio-psychosocial approach is thought to produce a comprehensive view of an individual because it requires an in-depth look at biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to behavior. Review one of the case studies presented in Ch. 9 of Contemporary Clinical Psychology. How are the biological, psychological, and social factors related to one another? How do these factors contribute to the individual's presenting problem? What is the relationship between these factors and a plan for treatment?
