Problem:
Question: How do mosses undergo gas exchange?
I was asked to compare gas exchange processes between liverwort and mosses.
The question itself. "Briefly describe how liverworts undergo gas exchange. Contrast that process with the process seen in mosses" I am assuming that mosses means the Lycophyta Club-Mosses not the Bryophyta Mosses because Bryophyta would be simply the vascular system, but I could be wrong I cannot see the big picture.
I was thinking liverworts gas exchange process is, they use a single pore to exchange the gas. I cannot find any definitions for this pore or what its scientific name is unfortunately so I can be wrong with that as well.
Does anybody know any source of this kind?
