Problem
In Module, we examine various approaches to critical thinking and how egocentrism can prevent critical thinking. For this discussion board, answer two of the following questions. Give concrete examples from your personal or professional life. From the required readings and the interactive lecture, craft your own definition of what it means to be a critical thinker and support your definition with a credible reference from one of the required or recommended readings. Review the interactive lecture content on factors impacting our thinking. What factor(s) do you think have the biggest impact on our thinking, and why is it important to recognize such influence? Review the interactive lecture content where Paul and Elder examine the "three basic functions of the human mind." How do the functions of "feeling" and "wanting" impact our thinking? Provide an example.
