Problem: We talk about diversity in a number of ways at the conclusion of part 1. Diversity impacts our cultural understanding of our client, our ability to relate and our ability to lead and consult. How we consult, whether it be through our understanding of the organizational culture or how we propose certain marketing strategies. We need to have a good sense of what diversity means and how to engage with different cultural perspectives. My question for the class, how would you as the consultant lead an organization if they shared a cultural perspective that differed from yours? Would your personal perspective influence your recommendations? How would you apply the major skills referred to in Chapter 4, analysis, relationship-building and project management skills without bias?
