Choose one of the questions on slide 8 relating to one of Esfahani-Smith's four pillars;
Relate to the material from the .ppt 'Critical Thinking and the Humanities': How does your site argue a concept without using words? E.g. Fasil Ghebbi argues interfaith interaction; Göbekli Tepe argues humanoid deities.

Locate your site on a world map. Be able to relate to modern territories, then choose one of the following questions to prepare to share with your peers:
1) How did your site bring people bring people together? How did/does it foster a sense of belonging?
2) What purpose did/does your site serve, literally? What purpose did it serve for the people who built it, in/through the process of building it?
3) How does your site provide transcendence? How did/does your site allow the people who built it to connect to a larger world?
4) What stories have you heard about your site? What stories have you just read?
5) Why might stories about these sites be as important as the factual histories ofthem?
