Discussion Post: Communicating Genuineness
Define what it means to be genuine in Human Services. Give examples of verbal and non-verbal behavior that can convey genuineness when working with a client. Then describe an interaction (either personally or professionally) when your behaviors discouraged genuineness. How did your behavior affect the situation? How can this be applied to your Human Services career?
