Think about one of the speeches you saw today, and think about the rhetorical devices you have learned about. Which rhetorical devices did the speaker use to make his speech memorable? One paragraph must be written explaining why and how the speech you chose should, in fact, be as famous as it is. Consider not just the content of what was said but also how it was delivered.
Think of another memorable speech that you have watched a recent or historical political figure give. How did the speech affect your way of thinking? How did the speaker use rhetorical devices to make the speech effective and memorable?
