Discussion Post: When the Levees Broke: Act I
Your paper should argue how Hurricane Katrina is seen using the sociological perspective... what C. Wright Mills calls the "sociological imagination." Your paper should consider:
• How the residents feel about the storm including the help or lack of help,
• The New Orleans region-geographically. How did the location play a factor in the impact of the storm?
• Potential options by local and federal governments looking forward on how they can help residents during a hurricane.
• Finally, include an emotional response. How did the video make you feel and why do you believe you felt that way.
The response must include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
