Problem: One of the socio-demographic "independent" variables assessed by Ayala and Carnero was "Age" for participants in the sample of N = 93 nurses who worked in a Peruvian military hospital. One of the "dependent" variables used to measure aspects of job-related burnout among nurses was the "Depersonalization Subscale Score" (DP Score) from the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire. Thus, one objective of the study was to investigate how depersonalization of nurses is related to their ages.
