CASE STUDY: MIRO Miro died soon after the journey home, surrounded by many of his extended family. He was happy to be back at his place of birth and specific ceremonies including the smoking ceremony were performed which was part of his desire to be home. His daughter managed to take a short break and even though she was not there for the death she was able to participate in customs after death which made her feel more at ease with her father's passing.
