Carlos has a great post! Good point about shared visions! Let's look a bit into visions and changes in policy. Oftentimes facilities will utilize policy changes to help create change and ensure that their facility is following their mission & vision. A question comes to mind- Will any policy change facilitate positive behavior changes? Yes! That is why you are learning how to implement change in your area- it is all part of the IOM Future of Nursing. DNP leaders will change health care and eventually make the system work.
