Many times, during an investigation the police officers are able to obtain a cell phone from a suspect or a victim of a crime. If you plug your phone into a vehicle sometimes data can be transferred from your phone to the car's computer. What information is in your cell phone that could be helpful to an investigation?
Instructions:
• Look through your cell phone and make a general list (non-personal) of all the information that an investigator can obtain about you through the apps present on the device (maps, email, texts, internet, social media, etc.).
• Answer the question: how could this information help in an investigation?
