Problem
• Give an example from an experience you've had where the communication process broke down. This could be in a family situation, at work, in the classroom, etc. You may want to review the Communication Process in Action and describe if you were the sender or receiver, what the message was and how it was encoded, decoded and if feedback was needed. What was the medium that the message was communicated and was it effective? What type of noise did you experience.
• Describe what Electronic Performance Monitoring (EPM) is and give examples of how companies are using this resource to monitor employees. How does this benefit the employer? How about the employee?
