Visual Arts and Film Studies:
Fashion and identity- How does clothing become a part of the self-realization of people?
Term 1: Produce and deliver a formatively assessed presentation with supporting visual materials and a summatively assessed 1500 word text and annotated bibliography in relation to your 1st option choice.
Each presentation will last between five and ten minutes. The presentation will include both visual examples and referenced quotes from your research sources.
Each student must contribute to the research and creation of the presentation. Every member of the group is required to be present in class on the presentation days and each group will be formatively assessed as a whole.
Each student will produce a 1500 word text to be submitted electronically via Moodle using Turnitin. This text will include:
1500 words that describes, analyses and situates the question set by the option tutor.
An annotated bibliography consisting of at least 20 sources (books, articles, websites) linked to in-text citations. The bibliography should be organised using the Harvard Referencing System as set out but the CITE THEM RIGHT ONLINE resource found at:

These annotations will explain the key ideas in each source and how they were used in supporting the presentation.
Appropriate supporting visual material, included in the text.
You may also include comments on the assignment and the roles played by individual students in the process of researching and creating the presentation.
