1. Critically reflect on the service's philosophy (regarding environmental responsibility)
2. Discuss how it compares to one or more models of best-practice found in your research.
3. Describe how children, families and staff engage with this philosophy and how that is demonstrated in daily service operations.
Benchmark Criteria
Critically reviewed service philosophy, policies and procedures in relation to different aspects of environmental responsibility, comparing them with contemporary practice in the following areas: curriculum, eco-friendly material usage, energy consumption and usage, water usage, recycling, toxins, upcycling and waste management. Analysed how these practices were demonstrated in operations. Compared and contrasted different sources of information.
