History shows that public administration had been practiced throughout the centuries in one form or another. For this assignment, assess the progress in public administration in the United States over the last century. Create a timeline that introduces three key factors, their scholars, successes, and pitfalls, which changed public administration between 1900 and 2018.
• Explain why you consider these changes as most important in how they influenced public administration and private entities.
• Include the political and societal backgrounds, and then explain why change was necessary.
• Assess new challenges in managing resources that evolved in recent years.
• Defend these challenges and the steps taken to overcome obstacles.
