Problem
i. Describe how the upper, middle, and lower classes in the United States differ in terms of their clothing, housing, transportation, speech, attitudes towards money and work, socialization/rearing of children/parenting, definition of social problems, welfare, access and attitudes towards higher education, health care etc.
ii. How can you tell which social class an individual belongs to? What role did race, gender and age play in your thoughts as you considered and answered this question? Did any stereotypes come to mind immediately prior to writing/researching your answer?
